| Objective | Evaluation of fishery resources around St Pierre and Miquelon (NAFO sector 3Ps): monitoring of the fisheries impct, forecasts on stock abundance assessment; obtaining weight and numerical abundance indices; sampling of populations for stock management; study of the hydrological conditions of the environment. This cruise follows those of 1977, 1978, 1979 and ERHAPS 801 on the St Pierre, Burgeo and Accor banks. The species particularly studied are: cod, haddock, redfish, flatfish, squid. |
