Oral history interview met een vrouw, geboren aan het begin van de jaren twintig van de twintigste eeuw in een gezin uit de hogere klasse. Beide ouders waren lid van de NSB en kenden veel hooggeplaatste NSB-ers.
Aan het eind van de oorlog vluchtte ze naar Duitsland. Bij terugkeer naar Nederland werd ze gearresteerd en een paar dagen gevangen gehouden. NS05, haar familie en echtgenoten waren allen pro-Duits.De aanleiding voor het interview is het Aletta project om levensverhalen van vrouwen vast te leggen die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog de kant van de bezetter kozen en/of geïnterneerd en/of gestraft zijn in het kader van de Bijzondere Rechtspleging.

Als politieke organisatie had de Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging (NSB) een grote aantrekkingskracht op vrouwen: een derde van de leden was vrouw, voor die tijd een ongekend groot deel. Als zelfstandige afdeling van de NSB groeide de Nationaal-Socialistische Vrouwenorganisatie (NSVO) uit tot een vereniging met twintigduizend leden.
In 2008 heeft Aletta de ervaringen van elf vrouwen vastgelegd die tussen 1931 en 1945 lid waren van de NSB. Op twee na wilden de vrouwen niet worden gefilmd. Op een NSB-verleden rust daarvoor nog een te groot taboe, zo bleek. De meeste interviews (9) zijn op audio vastgelegd.
Centraal in de gesprekken staan de herinneringen aan NSB-activiteiten tijdens de bezetting, ervaringen na Dolle Dinsdag en de tijd van internering. Vaak was het NSB-lidmaatschap nauwelijks een bewuste keuze omdat de vrouwen zelf in een NSB-gezin waren opgegroeid. Wat niet wil zeggen dat de vrouwen ideologisch niet overtuigd waren. Velen waren lid uit idealisme en twee van de geïnterviewde vrouwen koesteren nog steeds sympathieën voor het nationaalsocialisme. De interviews laten bovendien een ander beeld zien dan het stereotiepe waarin NSB-vrouwen laagopgeleid zijn.
De aanleiding voor de interviews is het Aletta project om levensverhalen van vrouwen vast te leggen die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog de kant van de bezetter kozen en/of geïnterneerd en/of gestraft zijn in het kader van de Bijzondere Rechtspleging.
