About this book

This textbook for physics students reflects the material in a two-semester course on quantum theory. It presents the fundamentals of quantum theory, including a detailed consideration of the quantum mechanical measurement process, the mathematic formalism, and Bell’s inequalities. It also covers modern concepts, such as Feynman’s path integral. The 3^rd edition has been supplemented with practice exercises.
