The younger (18–21, n = 52) and middle (22–25, n = 62) age group had a greater proportion of STI infections than the older age group (26–33, n = 47). The younger age group had a greater proportion of Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) infections compared to the other two groups, the middle age group had a higher proportion of multiple STIs compared to the younger and older age groups and the older age group had a higher proportion of Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) infections.
