The evolution of secondary flow phenomena and their effect on primary shock conditions in shock tubes: Experimentation and numerical model

Summary of a recent literature survey of experiments using shock tubes.

The survey analyzed 71 recent experiments, published between 2010 and 2018, which were conducted using a shock tube. The experimental subject being investigated, the energy source used to generate the shock wave, the shock strength, shock tube length, and size, and the location of specimens were identified for each study.
