Expression of SAA1, SAA2, SAA4 and pro-inflammatory cytokines in human monocytes.

mRNA gene expression was measured by RT-qPCR and presented as relative fold change of the non-treated monocytes. Data represent the mean ± standard error of the mean (SEM) of 9 experiments performed in cells isolated from 9 independent donors (buffy coats). Asterisks indicate significant differences as compared to non-treated cells (NT). (Mann Whitney test: * p < 0.05; ** p < 0.01, *** p< 0.0001). # indicates significant differences between the two delimited conditions (Mann Whitney test: # p < 0.05; ## p < 0.01, ### p< 0.0001).
