Classification of neurite length development.

To draw a qualitative comparison of neurite length development between the experimental and the control group the measured neurites were classified into three groups (short < 400 μm, medium 400–800 μm, long > 800 μm). CRMP-5 caused a significantly increased outgrowth of medium neurites (n = 10, p < 0.05, ± SEM, one-way ANOVA, parametric t-test).
