Effect of iterative reconstruction and temporal averaging on contour sharpness in dynamic myocardial CT perfusion: Sub-analysis of the prospective 4D CT perfusion pilot study

The comparison includes the distance between 25–75% of the maximal grey value (d; left diagram) and the slope in the contour (m; right diagram) between the two reconstructions—FBP and AIDR 3D strong levels. AIDR 3D was characterised by lower contour sharpness parameters, as indicated by higher values for the difference (d) and lower values for the slope (m).
