iBMDMs were primed with 100 ng/mL LPS overnight or left untreated (ctrl). 30 min before stimulation with 10 μM nigericin iBMDMs were subjected to shikonin (0–5 μM). After 45 min, cells were fixed and labelled for endogenous ASC. At least five 250 μm x 250 μm fields were recorded for each condition and used for analysis (below). Bar represents 50 μm.
