A Regional Stable Carbon Isotope Dendro-Climatology from the South African Summer Rainfall Area

Fig 5

Comparing the Mapungubwe and Pafuri δ13C records.

The average Mapungubwe δ13C record (red) and biwieght mean (bold red) has similarities and differences when compared with the Pafuri δ13C record (blue) and biwieght mean (bold blue). The black lines represent the biweight mean δ13C records from Mapungubwe and Pafuri without correcting for the intrinsic water use efficiency effect caused by elevated atmospheric CO2 concentrations since AD 1795.
