The figure shows the number of VMMCs per HIV infection averted in each age group in Zambia, 2010–2025. Hypothetical scenarios were run, in which circumcision prevalence was scaled up to an 80% coverage level one five-year age group at a time. HIV infections averted are projected across the entire population.
