BV2 cells were treated with TET at working concentrations for 2 h. Then, LPS was added to each plate and incubated at 37°C for an additional 24 h. Fig. 3a shows the morphological changes of BV2 cells with or without TET pretreatment. Red arrows indicate the activated BV2 cells. Black arrows indicate the basal homeostatic BV2 cells. Fig. 3b: Activated cells and total cells were counted under a phase contrast microscope. Results were expressed as the percentage of activated cells and were the mean ± S.D. from three independent experiments performed in triplicate. * P<0.05 compared with the LPS(+)TET(−) group.
