Immunogenicity of Individual Vaccine Components in a Bivalent Nicotine Vaccine Differ According to Vaccine Formulation and Administration Conditions

Figure 3

Nicotine-specific antibody (NicAb) titers and concentrations in monovalent vaccine groups and their individual dose-matched contributions when administered as a component of the bivalent vaccine (mean ± SD).

Vaccines were administered s.c. in alum. Vertical axis indicates the hapten toward which the antibodies are directed. Note that the scales of vertical axes differ. The immunogenicity of both 3′-AmNic-rEPA and 6-CMUNic-KLH immunogens were retained when combined; there were no differences in hapten-specific NicAb titers (A) or concentrations (B) between the monovalent vaccine and bivalent vaccine groups.
