Homology modeling of αCgT was performed by alignment of αCgT in H. pylori 26695 (wild type) and PimA in M. smegmatis. Amino acid substitutions observed in Japanese clinical isolates that increase (yellow) and decrease (blue) enzyme activity relative to WT αCgT are shown. The figures are adapted from a figure previously reported in [35].
