Necrotic cells measured by flow cytometry 24 h after treatment.

Cells were treated with 10 mM MMS for 20 min at 4°C, then cells were washed and incubated at 34°C until harvested for analysis. The DNA-PK inhibitor, NU-7026 was co-treated with MMS for 20 min at 4°C, then the MMS was removed and cells were incubated at 34°C in the presence of NU-7026 until harvested for analysis (MMS+DNAPKi). Values represent the means ± SEM of three independent experiments normalized to the control experiment.
