Linear regression analysis for individual rats showed a correlation between levels of BDNF in the hippocampus Vs the SC (R = 0.727, **p<0.01). Results showed no statistical correlation for exercise and sedentary intact animals (R = 0.262, *p>0.05, data not shown).
