A Putative Transcription Factor MYT1 Is Required for Female Fertility in the Ascomycete Gibberella zeae

One ml of a conidia suspension of each strain was incubated in 10 ml of complete medium or minimal medium at 25°C on a rotary shaker (150 rpm). Two hundred spores were observed in each examination with light microscopy and the number of conidia that germinated was counted. All data were obtained from three biological replicates.
