PI3K inhibitors disrupt vaccinia virus maturation.

A. BHK cells were infected with MVA for 17 hours plus or minus PI3K inhibitors. Untreated samples exhibit characteristic virion morphogenesis (4100x, Glut/KMnO4 fixative).
