Association of Symptoms and Severity of Rift Valley Fever with Genetic Polymorphisms in Human Innate Immune Pathways

Fig 2

Summary of RVF symptom severity cluster analysis.

With the use of two-step clustering algorithm, subjects who were seropositive for anti-RVFV IgG antibody were empirically grouped into three levels of symptom severity: mild, moderate and severe. The left panel indicates the relative importance (weight) of each symptom in assigning group membership. The right panel indicates the most typical profile of symptoms for subjects in each severity category. S2 Table provides numerical values for the symptom weights used in this classification.
