Hemangioma is vascular malformation and this cutaneous lesion is commonly treated with laser therapy in the dermatology field. In the past study, we examined the effect of the laser pinpoint irradiation to cutaneous melanocytic lesion with Q-switched Nd-YAG laser. But, Q-switched laser have not therapeutic effect for hemangiomas. Therefore, we newly examined to study the pinpoint laser therapy for treatment of hemangiomas with KTP continuous-wave laser. As a result of laser irradiation to blood vessel of mouse's auricle, the pinpoint laser therapy by scanning fine laser spot showed partly therapeutic effects such as narrowing without damaging the normal tissues around the lesions.
