To take advantage of the toughness mechanism of DN gel and to explore its possibility for engineering application as the structural member, in this study, we at first present an application of the damage model to DN gel together with Arruda-Boyce model. Next, we constitute a computational model to discuss the loading condition and the loading rate on the deformation behavior of DN gel.
