The article is devoted to the analysis of the main modern trends of digitalization of the economies of the leading world powers. Particular attention is paid to the state of Affairs with the practice of information and communication technologies in the Russian Federation. The analysis of trends in the participation of the digital economy in the formation of GDP of a number of countries, including Russia. The impact of digitalization processes on the current state and further development of various spheres of management is assessed. The practice of development of strategic programs for the development of national economies, which determine the targets for the development and implementation of modern information technologies in various industries and activities to improve the efficiency of national socio-economic systems. The author’s position in determining the main features of the current state of the digital economy of Russia is based on the generalization of the results of studies conducted by a number of international companies, and is of practical importance in the study of the problem of the ongoing transformation of social and labor relations in the context of digitalization.

ПУТЬ ОТ «НУЛЯ» К «ЕДИНИЦЕ»
Многие эксперты, анализируя современные тенденции развития производства, говорят о наступлении новой «технологической революции», «новой промышленной революции», или «четвертой промышленной революции». Безу-
словно, можно (и нужно) согласиться с данными выводами, поскольку за последнее десятилетие мировая экономика претерпела не только количественные, но, что важнее, серьезные качественные изменения. Действительно, термин «технологическая революция» звучит не впервые, и если уж говорить о ней, то современная революция — не первая и не вторая. Историю развития человеческого общества принято рассматривать как закономерную последовательность технологических революций. Мы привыкли осознавать, что технологическая революция связана с коренными изменениями в комплексе ключевых технологий, т.е. в способах производства готового продукта
(добавленной стоимости). И революциями эти технологические изменения называют за то, что они принципиально отличаются от предыдущих «версий», что позволяет существенно изменить, поднять на более высокий уровень результаты труда: увеличить производительность, снизить расходы материальных ресурсов и затраты ручного труда, повысить качество продукции, сформировать новые и улучшить существующие свойства готового продукта, создать принципиально новые товары и услуги. Такие изменения в мировой экономике цикличны, хорошо известны, но, к сожалению, единого подхода к их оценке и интерпретации, на наш взгляд, не сформулировано.
