Study on Cultivated Land Protection in Urbanization Process in Changshou District of Chongqing Based on Regression Analysis

摘要: “十一五”期间,重庆市长寿区城镇化快速发展,同时耕地资源大幅减退,经济发展矛盾日益突出。为了保护长寿区耕地资源,保证粮食安全,缓减城镇化发展面临的资源压力,通过建立回归模型,定量分析长寿区城镇化与耕地资源变化的关系,以求促进经济社会可持续发展。结果表明,城镇化的快速发展是耕地资源减少的直接动因,城镇化程度越高的地区,耕地面积减少越大,从而提出优化空间布局,加强农用地转用管理,开展土地整治,创新土地管理制度等措施解决耕地问题。

Abstract: During the period of ‘11th 5-Year Plan’, rapid development of urbanization in Changshou District of Chongqing, accompanied by sharp decline in cultivated land resources and contradictions of economic development have become increasingly prominent. In order to find out ways and means on how to protect cultivated land resources in Changshou District, ensure food security and alleviate resource pressures caused due to urbanization. Regression model had been applied to make quantitative analysis of the relationship between urbanization and change in cultivated land in Changshou District while at the same time promoting sustainable economic and social development. The results showed that: rapid development of urbanization was the direct cause for the decrease in cultivated land resources in which areas with high rate of urbanization, had encountered a decline in the size and productivity of arable land. Hence, agricultural land management system and innovative measures to deal with land issues were of paramount importance.
