THE USE OF CHLORPROMAZINE HYDROCHLORIDE IN THE TREATMENT OF BARBITURATE ADDICTION WITH ACUTE WITHDRAWAL SYNDROME

Abstract
A patient with barbiturate addiction and the acute withdrawal syndrome was treated successfully with Thorazine. We feel this drug warrants further clinical investigation in the treatment of drug addiction.
