Particle image velocimetry (PIV) is used to investigate the vibration response　characteristics of two same diameter circular cylinders in tandem arrangement and the flow field around them.The cylinders were mounted as cantilevers with low natural frequency(around 50 Hz).The Reynolds number was from 4000 to 20000.The distance between two cylinders was 20mm.
