The experiment was carried out on the foliar absorption of urea by seedlings of Sugi (Cryptomeria japonica D. DON.) The results are summarized as follows:
1. In the case of Sugi, maximum foliar absorption has not been attained within 24 hours after spraying, but it has been attained after an elapse of 48 hours.
2. The existence of K+ and H2PO4- in the spraying solution does not seem to disturb the foliar absorption of urea.
