The Construction and the operation of a computing numerical control system including a special purpose computer are explained.
The features and the merits of this system are as follows;
1) No preliminary calculations concerning the cutter offset are necessary for the programming. The mumerical informations on the cutter radius are given by dial setting on the operation panel of the equipment.
2) Electro-hydraulic pulse motors are employed as the servo-elements to drive the machine-tool.
3) All transistorized and extremely miniaturized.
