An optical video disc for Hi-Vision was developed by recording 2 channel signals on both sides of a disc. Two pick-ups for playback reproduce 20MHz luminance and 6.7MHz chrominance signals without band signal compression. The playing time of CLV disc is 30 minutes and it is enough for practical use.
