A new editing system based on MPEG-4 Studio Profile is proposed. The system encodes arbitrary shaped HDTV images into MPEG-4 Studio Profile stream. It manages several bitstreams, computer graphics described by VRML and static images and arranges them using GUI. In this paper, we describe the structure of the system and functions of the GUI, and show examples of moving picture editing.
