　I．はじめに

　舌甲状腺は胎生期の異常によるもので，呼吸困難，嚥下障害，出血などが起こる場合がある。このような症例に対しては外科的治療が必要となることがある。しかし舌甲状腺の診断の下に手術が行なわれた症例は少なく，特にその内，有茎移植が行なわれた報告は数例にしかすぎない。

　今回われわれは呼吸困難および嚥下障害を主訴とした舌甲状腺2症例に対し，その栄養血管を保存しながら顎下部に移植を行ない，甲状腺機能を低下させずに，主訴を軽快せしめえたので報告する。

　Lingual thyroid often causes severe dyspnea, dysphagia and recurrent hemorrhages. So far as the available literatures are concerned, partial or total resection of the thyroids in these cases are the bound to produce a permanent state of hyothyroidism.

　Thus, any type of thyroidectomy is contraindicated especially when the normal thyroid gland is missing and the lingual ectopis is the only one present.

　Lingual thyroid was found in two female patients, aged 21 and 45, by means of angiography in which the lingual artery supplied the thyroid glands. Both cases suffered recurrent dyspnea and dysphagia.

　The lingual thyroids in both cases were transplanted to the submandibular area with a new route of blood supply through the superior thyroid artery which was well adapted in both cases.
