During 2009–2014 and 2016, the efficacy of five chemical fungicides in controlling leaf blight of Chinese chive caused by Botrytis squamosa was evaluated in fields.Fludioxonil flowable that had been highly effective in our previous study also served as control. Because two or three trials except for control (six trials) were conducted for per each fungicide, these data were analyzed using meta-analysis. An integrated risk ratio (the ratio of incidence on treated plants to incidence on non-application plants) after treatment with flowable fludioxonil was 0.11, with the following conditions: with basic copper sulfates of wettable powder, it was 0.28; with flowable penthiopyrad, it was 0.13; with pyribencarb water dispersible granules, it was 0.14; with benomyl wettable powder, it was 0.21; and with flowable picoxystrobin, it was 0.28. As shown above, all five fungicides tested in this report were effective against this disease.
