ABSTRACT
The Monolithic Memories 6700 (MCU) is a powerful Microprogram Control Unit or Sequencer which can be used either as the control element in a system incorporating the MMI 6701 Microcontroller, or as a stand alone sequence controller in non-arithmetic applications.
The MCU is used with standard Random Access Memory RAM, ROM, or P.ROM, with a portion of the memory output providing information required by the MCU and the remainder used to provide the signals necessary for the 6701 and peripheral logic circuits.
