Numerical Simulation and Optimal Design of Flow Field in Power plant Low Temperature Economizer

Published:26 March 2024Publication History

ABSTRACT

Due to the complexity and variability of the structure of economizer and its inlet and outlet flue, it is very difficult to conduct physical model experiments directly, and its success rate and accuracy are relatively low. In this paper, the finned tube area of power plant low temperature economizer is regarded as a porous media region with certain porosity, and its internal flow field is simulated by FLUENT. According to the simulation results, the economizer and its inlet and outlet flue structure were optimized. Then the iterative simulation is carried out until the optimal flow field design scheme is finally obtained.
