The development of a prototype of configurable motors

Published:07 August 2023Publication History

ABSTRACT

A DC motor is a crucial element in machines and robots. For the machines or robots that are used in research and development purposes, the properties might need to be adjusted repetitively. However, to remove and reinstall the motors from those mechanisms is difficult and time consuming. Therefore, this research proposes a prototype test kit which can mimic the behavior of the motors in different parameters. The results show that the angular velocity and torque produced from the test kit are comparable with ones that generated from a simple DC motor model.
