ABSTRACT
This document presents a summary of my research as a doctoral student. The topic of my research is "Conceptualization of Purposeful Games". I am interested in knowing how designers conceptualize games that resolve the duality of fun and purpose effectively. I have conducted pilot studies and the results are encouraging. This document presents my research situation, research question, my approach to answering this question, and the expected contributions of the research.
