The general formula representing the singlet and the triplet system of He is calculated using Breit's Hamiltonian. The interac'ion between the ringlet and the triplet system, and the polarisation effect of the outer electron on the inner electron are taken into account. The numerical separations of the triplet terms 1s2p ³P, 1s3p ³P, 1S3d ³D and 1s4d ³D are computed. The result is in goo 1 agreement with experiments
