This paper is concerned with three themes: (i) characteristics of the land-use in a land readjustment area, (ii) attitudes of the residents and the land-owners to the environment and land-use in this area, (iii) their attitudes to the environmental-agreements on residential district. The conclusions are as follows: (i) there is a confusion of housing, farm-land, and miscellaneous land-use, and housing-lots are provided by large-scale owners, (ii) attitudes to the environment and land-use reflect land-ownership or residential environment of residents, (iii) attitudes to the environmental-agreement reflect land-ownership or attitudes of residents to the environment.
