We report here two cases of atopic dermatitis who developed impetigo caused by group G streptococci. Case 1 was a 5-year-old girl with moderate atopic dermatitis. Disseminated crusted pustules were present on the face and forearms for 2 days. Case 2 was a 21-year-old lady with mild atopic dermatitis. She has impetigo around her right ear for a week. Group G streptococci and Staphylococcus aureus were isolated from pustules in both patients. Skin lesions regressed rapidly by oral ampicillin (case 1) and oral cefalexin (case 2) treatment.
