A 2-year-old boy with a swelling of the left preauricular region was introduced to our outpatient clinic. A CT scan examination showed a chopstick fragment in the infratemporal fossa which he had pierced through his left eyelid about 2 months previously. The foreign body was removed using Obwegeser's temporal approach method. This methed was considered to be the best for these cases from a cosmetic point of view and due to a low complication rate.
