A girl, aged 10, was shot by accident with an air gun from the distance about 3 meter ahead. It was roentgenogically confirmed that the bullet had stopped in the posterior group of the right ethmoid cells through the entrance pupil at the right inner canthus.
The foreign body was successfully extracted by means of transmaxillary ethmoid cell operation under narcosis.
