To reconstruct masses of double-hypernuclei, it is necessary to measure the kinetic energies of nuclear fragments of the hypernuclei. Originally kinetic energies were obtained by track ranges in comparison with ranges of alpha particles from natural isotopes in the emulsion. We are starting to develop a new calibration method with mu^+^ particles from stopping pi^+^ decay in addition to alpha particles. The merit of using mu^+^ particles is getting more valid calibration for single charged particles. However, it is not so easy to pick up sample mu^+^ particles in the emulsion. In this talk, we will introduce an outline of the method and detection method of mu^+ ^particles under the fully automated Xi^-^ track following.
