Abstract
Interest in Cladorrhinum species has recently grown, due to their biodiversity and use as a biocontrol agents. This article reviews the mechanisms and desirable properties exhibited by these taxa. We consider the production of antibiotics and enzymes by some species of the genus and discuss the diversity and morphological characteristics of the species.
