Spring term of 2011 design exercise, the theme was “Design of Play”. We produced a board game called KURUTAN in team cooperation. In this design course, we created a new experience for players to playing game which is a complex behavior actually. In order to design a pleasant on "playing", it is important to examine the rules of the game, and based on the experience of a player. At the process of making the board game, we made many kinds of prototypes and played it several times for testing. We made 36 prototypes what were included pieces, boards, cards, packages and rule books in different materials and forms. It was carried out iteration and aimed at the improvement in the quality of a game.
