Abstract
The operation of cableways inevitably raises concerns regarding the health of support structures, owing to various factors. However, traditional monitoring methods, such as manual observation and automatic monitoring systems, have proven inadequate in achieving continuous, real-time, and automated monitoring of support structure deformations over the long term. To ensure the secure operation of the cableway and to further investigate the factors contributing to the deformation of cableway supports, this study implemented a comprehensive automated deformation monitoring system by installing GNSS receivers, accelerometers, inclinometers, meteorological meters, and various other sensors on the cableway located in the Yinzuo Tianmeng Tourist Area of Yimeng Mountain.
