Abstract
Due to its topology characteristics, VIENNA rectifier has the problems of neutral point voltage balance and current zero crossing distortion. This paper firstly introduces the existing HCB_ DPWM_I strategy, Based on this, the mechanism of current zero-crossing distortion of VIENNA rectifier is further analysed , and a new HCB_ DPWM_ II strategy is proposed, this modulation strategy can effectively solve the problem of current zero crossing distortion. Then the influence of these two modulation strategies on the midpoint voltage of the VIENNA rectifier topology is discussed, and the new HCB_ DPWM strategy is combined according to their different characteristics. The simulation and experiment prove that this modulation strategy can effectively solve the problems of neutral point voltage balance and current zero-crossing distortion existing in VIENNA rectifier.
