Abstract
In this paper, based on a different mixed variational form of elasticity, we construct a family of stable mixed finite elements in two and three dimensions. It includes triangular elements, tetrahedron elements, rectangular elements and cubic elements. The optimal convergence orders are derived which are independent of the regular condition of mesh. We prove that the mixed finite elements are anisotropic convergence.
