Abstract
Retrieval strategy is constructed based on incoPat, the index of patent citation frequency is used to mine the core patents in the field of global edge computing, and core patents are analyzed by backward and forward citation. Results show that USA is the main application country and source country of global edge computing technology; The core patent US20110075675A1 ranks first with an average annual citation frequency of 60.6 times. Its forward citation subjects include IBM, Cisco, Huawei, NEC, Samsung Electronics and other enterprises, and there is an innovative competition relationship; the evolution route of edge computing evolved from early edge call and session management to packet routing and wireless bearer identification, and finally to intelligent routing and wireless device monitoring strategy.
