Abstract
The grounding problem of substation is directly related to the operation safety of electrical equipment and the personal safety of staff. With the development of the power system, the scale of the power grid is expanding, the substation site conditions are becoming more and more stringent. The increasing grounding short-circuit current puts forward higher requirements for substation grounding technology. In view of the current situation that the contact potential of most substations does not meet the requirements, this paper innovatively adopts the square table grounding grid, cancels the vertical grounding pole at the edge of the grounding grid, and uses GASP to calculate the grounding parameters of the grounding grid. Taking ZhiZhai substation as example, after adopting the optimization scheme, the contact potential is reduced by 18.87%, and the step potential is reduced by 20.25%. By canceling the grounding grid at the edge of the grounding grid, the amount of flat copper used for grounding is reduced by 20.83%.
