Abstract

Basing on the event of pole2 exit in Luquan station,which caused the power drop of Gaopo station pole2, this paper introduced the functions of three-terminal DC pole exit and pole-pole power transferr , analyzed the reason of power drop of pole 2 in Gaopo station, illustrated the defects in the design of pole exit function and inter-pole power transfer function, and propounded some improvement measures for the design and operation of HVDC project.
