Abstract
The coherent backscattering enhancement in anisotropically scattering media is considered and analyzed within the small angle approximation of the radiative transfer theory. Asymptotic theory of the effect is revised and generalized. Effect of non-uniformity of the single backscattering cross section in rear hemisphere on the investigated phenomenon is estimated.
